I took a well-earned break this week and went on a family camping trip in Anglesey for a couple of days. We stayed on Bodfan Farm in my Dad’s Camper Van! Well… I didn’t actually stay in the Camper Van, I slept on a cheap blow up bed in a tent and it’s safe to say I will never be doing that again! The bed must have had a hole in it because I woke up at 2am firmly lying on the hard floor both nights with the tent shaking vigorously in the wind. It turns out that I’m more sleep deprived than I was prior to the holiday. Nevertheless… we had a good explore and some quality family time. The weather was lovely and we took a stroll along Rhosneigr beach and around the village at Beaumaris Pier where there are some lovely properties with colourful fronts and interesting front doors. I love going to Wales away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre; it just feels so nice breathing in fresh clean air. For my next trip I will be visiting London in September for London Design Festival and I will be visiting Decorex and 100% Design whilst going on a food crawl; if you have any recommendations of cool design led restaurants please let me know!
