A period property near Sefton Park, Liverpool was being converted from a HMO into short stay accommodation for Airbnb. This project involved layout re-configuration, styling, product sourcing, personal shopping for extra occasional furniture, art and homeware and taking photos for website. We were briefed to create a brighter, fresh and welcoming interior for each guest to feel comfortable during their stay in Liverpool. The project was a really quick turnaround with a tight budget and we had to work with the existing furniture, however it shows that simple and small changes can make a huge difference to the overall look of a room!
We worked with affordable retailers that stocked products so that we could quickly go shopping, purchase everything that was required and style the rooms within a 1.5 week lead time. We decided to keep the existing wall colours white to minimise work required and we brought pops of colour into each room with cushions and artwork sourced from local artists to contrast against the grey carpets and furniture. Products were sourced from lots of different shops to ensure each of the rooms had their own personality and had a more eclectic feel.
“Natalie exceeded our expectations, We contacted Natalie to help us design our period property for room lets on AirBNB. She understood exactly what we were looking for and created this perfectly. Very professional and lovely to work with. Highly recommend and will definitely be asking Natalie for her services in the future. Could not be happier with the results.”
